  • Only be subject to the company regulation, do not obey the disposal of any other department. Be responsible for the company and the director.
  • Share positive suggestion, methods of improving the job, and requirements and rules with the purpose of achieving better quality.

QC Purpose

In order to produce more excellent products, we need to carry out even more rigorous and comprehensive quality control on quartz surface manufacturing. Since the raw material of the quartz stone is the natural quartz, we have to do strict QC from the selection of raw materials, the use of resin, maintenance and repair of the production equipment, and many other aspects.

In production processes, there are so many matters needing attention, even with the best raw materials, any problems of stirring, feeding, pressure, temperature or time will lead to a decline of quartz surface quality. If there is something wrong with the proportioning of material, quartz surface quality would also be affected quite a lot.

Strict QC has to be carried and includes the QC of the finished quartz surface and quartz stone countertop.

We carry out pretty strict control on the production procedure. Through the controlling of the six procedures, all the details from raw material to finished product can be well controlled. Specific implementations are as followed:

  • Choose the best mining raw materials in China at present.
  • Select the large ore after mining.
  • Only use Experienced workers.
  • QC make sure the selected material could yield of the fine quartz sand 80%.
  • Hauls Back the selected ore to do smashing.
  • Reselect the quartz stone raw materials and classify them.

Imported Material

Must Pay visit before place order
Try to make bulk order to ensure quality consistent.
  • Choose the most reliable and responsible supplier.
  • Inspect their production method and issue our requirement.
  • Do sampling QC on it.
  • Keep supplier stable, do not change supplier due to small price difference.
  • Get supplier's production pictures instantly, to see if there mineral change.
  • Do QC for every bag before using.

Established our own mine plant

We had established our own quartz powder factory which starts from mining in Jiangxi, and get a strong supplying chain to achieve better product.

Quality Control For Quartz Surface Production

Before Production

Care about every step so as to reach to the target.
Due to humility could affect quartz surface quality, we have to care the transportation,storage condition, and test the quartz before use it.
  • Test raw material, to avoid any unqualified material be used.
  • Make a sample to find out if there any problem with raw material and design.
  • Produce 10 big slabs and polish it to see if there's any problem before bulk production.
  • Recheck machine air vacuum, temperature, stirring time setting to make sure everything meets with the requirement.
  • Arrange tools and machine if the design needs specific design tools or machinery and make sure everything in good condition.

During Production

Experience is also very important for Chinese Factory.
Too much things should be considered, please pardon for only mention the follow
  • Adopt the best resin in China at present.
  • Checking proportion accurately for quartz surface needs.
  • Checking temperature instantly and setting time to make sure quartz stone cooked well.
  • Make sure color design could be strictly complied with quartz surface design.
  • Cleaning working table and flooring after every lamination slab production.

Quality Control For Quartz Surface Polishing and Packing

Before and During Polishing

Make sure quartz surface slabs in correct condition before polishing.
Simply remind the following to get your understanding.
  • Make sure slabs in correct condition before polishing.
  • Check saw cutting machinery, let everything correct.
  • Test polishing machinery if you are going to change a thickness. Use a disposable slab to test the machinery to make sure it goes correctly as required.
  • Turn on all QC table lights to make sure polished board is within our QC standard. Recheck the quartz surface design.
  • Check size and thickness, if it's correct and with in tolerance.
  • Classify the not qualified board, there only qualified and not qualified, no semi.
  • Make sure there no any dust before film the board.
  • Make sure the board will be filmed before transport it inside workshop.
  • Mark and pack the goods according to Macostone Brand Requirement or the customers requirement.
  • Do sampling physical and chemical test to see if the product can meet the standard as required.

Quality Control For Quartz Surface Countertop Fabrication

Cutting and edge forming.

Help customer to Check drawing to make sure all the thing reasonable and correct
Please understand that, for volume countertop fabrication, for single design countertop, for standard countertop, our charge and quotation may be different due to the material waste and time cost.
  • Make sure the cutting drawing is correct, we need to confirm by related chief. No mistake is allowed.
  • Before cutting slab, must recheck and make sure the slab is perfect, and meet with the cutting drawing.
  • The first finished part need always be strictly checked, the angle, the size, is there's damages. The rest part need to do polling test to see if it meets with requirement.
  • Fabrication is a very detailed job, all the QC workers need to walk around to do polling test and make sure things are carry on correct.

Polishing

The worker who is doing polish has the ability to check all the joint and confirm the quality if meets with the requirement.
We did volume countertops fabrication for quartz surface project. Some are extremely complicated which was even not very familiar with normal workers. Our QC and designer will follow up every details to make it sure.
  • Follow polishing regulation to use different polish pad until get the shinning surface
  • Keep on QC for the details of last job which had been done, if you find any things no regular, please report to confirm.
  • Be responsible for all the joints and angle degree.
  • Has the right to question all the things but also has the responsibility for all the job passed by your hand.
  • QC standard to be the final standard.

Packing

Packing is the last job which were cooperated done by Packing workers and QC
Do QC piece by piece, record all the things and mark every piece to let customer work easily with it.
  • Clean the surface and do QC.
  • Correct artwork and correct size countertops were the only ones that permit to be packed with plastic film.
  • Check the packing list to make sure everything is right.
  • Check the dimension and quality of crate before packing.
  • Take detailed records and photos during packing.
  • Take detailed records and photos during loading.
